Hi, Iā€™m Dr. Grace Carlson. Welcome to my practice.

I see my role as a supportive guide who can help you develop a deeper understanding of your identity, emotional experiences, and needs. I enjoy supporting clients through anxiety, OCD, traumatic experiences, identity issues, and relationship problems.

Additionally, I provide specialized therapy for adults with ADHD (including individual and group therapy), executive function coaching, and conduct ADHD assessments for adults. With five years of specialized experience with this population, I am passionate about educating and empowering adults with ADHD. Together we can explore how ADHD has impacted you and identify specific techniques to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

I primarily work from a psychodynamic perspective, meaning I value discussing your childhood experiences and relationships to understand how you see yourself, others, and the world. I also rely on techniques from trauma-informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, embodiment practices, and mindfulness to tailor treatment to your individual needs.

I am a LGBTQIA and neurodivergent-affirming therapist and work with people from various racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. I do my utmost to ensure every session feels safe and respectful of who you are and what you need out of therapy.
